Minami Tokuyama is an undergraduate student in Barrett the honors college double majoring in Biological Sciences (Genetics, Cell and Developmental Biology) and Biochemistry (Medicinal Chemistry). She participated in the Helios Scholars Program at the Translational Genomics Research institute in 2011. She currently works at the Institute for Developmental Behavioral Neurology in Scottsdale. In the lab, her project focuses on neurogenesis in the regenerating tail of Anolis Carolinensis. She aspires to attend medical school in the fall of 2015.
